Online Psychological Assessments on Wellness and Counselling Centre Website

As our daily lives are full of ups and downs, it seems inevitable for us to experience fluctuating moods and emotions, and our well-being might also be affected. Understanding our psychological status is of utmost importance for the prevention and early intervention of possible mental health problems.

Wellness and Counselling Centre (WACC) provides online psychological assessments, including:

  • Mental Health Continuum Short Form Index (Keyes, 2005, 1998; Ryff, 1989; Ryff & Keyes, 1995)
  • The Patient Health Questionnaire
    Generalized Anxiety Disorder
  • Questionnaire

The above tools only provide a preliminary assessment of the user’s mental health status. If necessary, please seek professional help from a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist or general practitioner for further assessment.

If you want to talk to someone, you are welcomed to make an appointment with a WACC Counsellor.

How can I make an appointment?

  • By telephone: Call WACC at 3943 7208 or 3943 3493 within office hours to arrange an appointment;
  • Through internet: Browse WACC  website and click “Make An Appointment” ;
  • In-person: Visit WACC (located in 2/F Pommerenke Student Centre) within office hours to make an appointment.

If you have an urgent need to see a counsellor, you may visit WACC during office hours. The Duty Counsellor will assess your needs and make appropriate arrangements with you. If you need counselling service during non-office hours, please call the CUHK 24-hour Emotional Support Hotline at 5400 2055, or seek help from other Counselling Hotlines  / Online Counselling Services .
